Panther City Riots (Matt Shelton) Release Debut Song "Desire"
Matt Shelton formerly of Letter Kills, The Wedding, and his solo work IS BACK with brand new project titled Panther City Riots. Check out their debut song titled “Desire” below. Awesome band name a song full of new wave-like alt-pop ambiance. It’s like The Cure meets Blaq Audio meets Depeche Mode walking into a room with U2 and Head Automatica. Good stuff and I think a lot of people are going to dig this new sound/direction. Check out his kickstarter campaign to fund the new album.… Continued →

Letter Kills Teasing Return?
Letter Kills just might be teasing a comeback. It’s a little soon to speculate what it could mean; a one-off reunion show? An new album? Kevin Kiehn to release EP this Fall!
Years ago, I came across a band called The Wedding online and instantly fell in love with their music, every aspect of it. On their self-titled album and their sophomore release, “Polarity”, vocalist Kevin Kiehn did an amazing job on vocals, helping to make those albums quite memorable and still favorites of mine to this day. After touring a bit following the release of “Polarity” however, Kiehn stepped down as frontman of the band and away from music for the past 10 years. According to a recent post on Facebook however, Kevin has announced he is currently recording a new ep that will be released this Fall.… Continued →

TRAMPS Release Debut Ep
TRAMPS the band featuring ex-members of The Wedding and The Overseer have released their debut ep. Filled to the brim with passionate, honest, and heart on the sleeve rock n’ roll. To put it lightly, I’m more than impressed with this debut and feel that it’s one of the strongest debut releases of 2016. There is just something that reeks of pure honesty when listening to these songs. Featuring a slight “punk rock” edge while staying true to straight up dyed in the wool rock n’ roll.… Continued →

The Wedding
A Current Affair
It was a dark and stormy night. The Germans were breathing down our necks and we were running out of ammo, food and oh…wait…I got confused because my ears are still ringing. Well, not so much mine, but probably my girlfriend’s ears. I’m tougher than that. However, a life long (sorry, I keep lying, forgive me) dream of seeing the Wedding live. As in a show, not as in just making sure they weren’t dead. … Continued →
