Theocracy - Return To Dust (Official Music Video)

Theocracy return with brand new song “Return to Dust”. Watch the music video for the killer song, below. What comes to mind first and foremost is a collage of exploding head emojis, words like “epic” and “soaring”, images of powerful dragons flying through the night skies with stealth, a choir of angels with swords at their sides using their voices to battle the hoards of demons, and for some reason riding a majestic Falkor over massive fields right at sunset. I think of those things as this song plays loud from the comforting embrace of my headphones.… Continued →

Best of 2016: Ian DeVaney

2016 was a great year for Christian music, so great in fact that I found it difficult to keep up with all of the releases coming out! These are the albums that I found myself listening to the most over the course of the year though, and after spending a few days listening to the others that I missed, I’m quite comfortable saying that these are the best releases of the year! 1. Switchfoot – Where the Light Shines Through 2. Dogs of Peace – Heel  3.Continued →

REVIEW : Theocracy - Mirror Of Souls

Album: Mirror of Souls Label: Ulterium Records Reviewer: Stephen M When Brandon asked me to review Theocracy I was sceptical, and for good reason too. Theocracy is a band in a genre I have yet to discover. Epic, melodic Power Metal with occasional progressive flourishes is what Theocracy is classified as. I have never really listened to any metal bands before, like Dragonforce, which I am told are similar, so this “metal” sound is new to me and in some ways redefines it for me. Normally what I call progressive metal music sounds like Becoming The Archetype.… Continued →
