Demon Hunter have just announced as of yesterday a special “Evening With Demon Hunter” select tour stops around the U.S. There will be 11 shows in different states featuring “Over 20 songs, over two hours of music, spanning the band’s whole career, including songs from the most recent albums, WAR & PEACE. There’s really no need for any introduction to these giants. However over the years, Demon Hunter’s sound has slowly transformed from that signature “DH” sound to a cleaner vocal driven sound. Metal giants Demon Hunter surprised us recently with the announcement that they will be releasing not one album, but two on the same day. The albums titled War and Peace contrast each other with a heavier sound and a softer one respectively. Today, they released a track from each. “On My Side” is a hard hitting melodic piece from War that features one of the most infectious and memorable choruses in Demon Hunter history. The extreme progressive metal band, The Beckoning  have announced the new title of their upcoming re-release, their first release through their new label, Nosral Recordings. The album is a release of their EPs, Desolate and War, put together and simply titled The Desolation of War. The tracks have been remastered by Luke Dinan (Children of Wrath) and will be available December 29, 2017. If you haven’t listened and downloaded their music before, you are in for a shock. The Beckoning has officially left the collection of bands that are independent. The label, known as Nosral Recordings, has signed the progressive metal band and are re-releasing their EPs War and Desolate as one collection. The Beckoning has been going at it for years. The progressive extreme metal band has been around since 2010, being apart of several different compilations, including The Killing Fields, which featured bands such as Your Chance to Die, Romero and Christageddon, and Metal From The Dragon Vol. 1, which featured Symphony of Heaven, Good News We’re Dead and While Heroes Sleep.
